The unit consists of a series of panels acting as wainscoting. The panels can be fitted with rear-lighted cube units or glass shelves. The cubes are hung by special spacers in matte methacrylate hiding a light-source that diffuse the light outside and inside the unit via a porthole in the back panel. The system is completed by base units of different lengths. Panels and doors of the cubes can be matte or glossy lacquered in different colours, body of the cubes only matte lacquered. Light and dark. Empty and full. Small instances of architecture that carve out space to create a harmonious balance between form and function. Hanging containers alternate with empty spaces, slightly underlined by shelves, to satisfy the very latest needs of a contemporary lifestyle: to put away, to rest, to hang and to showcase. Lights, cleverly inserted between the units and the wainscoting, to evidence the contrast between the volumes, to provide extra value for the functions, to highlight the objects. Architecture also consisting of light and shade, therefore, just like architectural design of exteriors, stressing more abstract values.
